Newly made but looking as if they have been salvaged from the sea these pots are at the top of their class. Providing a look of an ancient civilisation, each ‘hand-crafted’ piece has a unique rustic, textured character. These pots, urns, jars and planters are frost resistant and although they may shed a little when unwrapped from the plastic film wrap they are very suitable for flowing water features.
A complex and newly created technique by our artisan maker has produced a beautiful and compelling hue while extending our range of textured style finishes. Indoor and outdoor use. Easily converted to a water feature.
CLEANING:
- To clean use a mild soapy water and a soft bristle brush or rag. Avoid harsh chemical and abrasives.
Made from earthenware clay, wood-fired and frost proof. Each jar is hand crafted and distinctly unique. The colour, shape, dimensions and finish may differ from the photo. The textured surface may flake in places but this is part of the rustic, ‘old world’ charm of this range and will not affect the product integrity.

After searching for a suitable water feature for our new home for the best part of three years, we had a good sense of what ambience we wanted to create. I happened upon the Gardener’s Emporium website and was attracted to a three-tier fountain in an antique bronze finish. Auckland is a long way from Wanaka but after talking to Rachel and sending her photos of our courtyard, I felt encouraged that this might be what we’d been looking for. We took measurements and even asked a good friend who has impeccable taste and who knows our house well to check the size and quality of the product. She loved it. We were nervous about the shipping, but Rachel is the most hands-on supplier I’ve ever dealt with. She scrupulously attended to every detail, ensuring the fountain was meticulously boxed and packaged, then shipped with the most reputable furniture removal company she could find. Rachel and Stu were in communication over the crating and delivery on a daily basis, ensuring that we knew how to have the fountain assembled and installed by sending us videos of installation and careful instructions. On the day it was installed, Rachel was on standby at the other end of the phone in case we had any questions. Fantastic service and we are delighted; the fountain is a perfect size for our space, as Rachel said it would be, and the workmanship and materials are of top quality.

Being in Real Estate and viewing many homes, I know the secret to creating a lasting impression is through landscape design. When looking for planters that were unique and offered a wow factor that you don’t find in the major homeware department stores I was so delighted to come across the Gardeners Emporium website. They have such an awesome range with great photos and helpful product details, including sizes, colours and pricing. Right from my first email communication with Rachel I was very impressed with her prompt response and the subsequent lengths Rachel was prepared to go to ensure I was getting exactly the special planters I was after. Because the planters were being imported Rachel was very proactive in keeping me regularly updated with the expected delivery timeframes. Through some very clever and robust packaging Rachel significantly reduced the freight costs and when we took delivery of 4 large planters in Dunedin they were in perfect condition. We are so very delighted with these stunning distinctive planters, they are a standout feature to both an indoor and outdoor area.

We had been looking for many months without success for a suitable pot to use as a water feature in our front garden. Fortunately we came across the Gardeners Emporium site purely by accident and saw a pot we liked. We emailed Rachel straight away and asked if we could come and view it. The service from that point on was outstanding. All correspondence was promptly replied to and our visit to the warehouse was way beyond what we expected. For many many years, I' ve been on the lookout for a serene, elegant garden ornament. When Gardeners Emporium started up I decided to have an online browse & immediately found the Pietro Angel.....the most beautiful reflective & unique statue.
