This hand carved Easter Island Rapanui Moai Sculpture is crafted from natural Indonesian greenstone, drawing inspiration from the iconic stone figures created by the early Rapa Nui people. With its strong, simplified form and timeless presence, the sculpture brings a sense of history, grounding and sculptural impact to outdoor spaces.
Individually hand carved by skilled Indonesian artisans, each piece showcases the natural character of greenstone, including subtle variations in colour, tone and texture. Natural inclusions within the stone are part of its story, formed over centuries as different rock elements bind together, ensuring every sculpture is entirely unique.
Its vertical form and considered scale make it well suited to gardens, courtyards and landscaped environments, where it can be used as a standalone focal point or integrated into a wider outdoor design. For added atmosphere, a discreet uplight placed at the base will highlight the carved details, casting soft shadows and creating an ambient evening glow.

After searching for a suitable water feature for our new home for the best part of three years, we had a good sense of what ambience we wanted to create. I happened upon the Gardener’s Emporium website and was attracted to a three-tier fountain in an antique bronze finish. Auckland is a long way from Wanaka but after talking to Rachel and sending her photos of our courtyard, I felt encouraged that this might be what we’d been looking for. We took measurements and even asked a good friend who has impeccable taste and who knows our house well to check the size and quality of the product. She loved it. We were nervous about the shipping, but Rachel is the most hands-on supplier I’ve ever dealt with. She scrupulously attended to every detail, ensuring the fountain was meticulously boxed and packaged, then shipped with the most reputable furniture removal company she could find. Rachel and Stu were in communication over the crating and delivery on a daily basis, ensuring that we knew how to have the fountain assembled and installed by sending us videos of installation and careful instructions. On the day it was installed, Rachel was on standby at the other end of the phone in case we had any questions. Fantastic service and we are delighted; the fountain is a perfect size for our space, as Rachel said it would be, and the workmanship and materials are of top quality.

We had been looking for many months without success for a suitable pot to use as a water feature in our front garden. Fortunately we came across the Gardeners Emporium site purely by accident and saw a pot we liked. We emailed Rachel straight away and asked if we could come and view it.
