The Sphere Fountain is a striking sculptural water feature designed to bring movement, sound, and tranquillity into outdoor spaces. Featuring a perfectly rounded sphere resting on a square base, water gently flows from the top of the ball and cascades evenly across the surface, creating a mesmerising visual effect accompanied by a soft, calming sound.

Its balanced, architectural form makes it ideal for courtyards, entranceways, gardens, and contemporary landscapes where a simple yet impactful focal point is desired. Whether placed within planting, gravel, or paving, the Sphere Fountain introduces the calming presence of water while complementing modern outdoor design.

Crafted as part of the Pietro Stoneware collection, each piece is made using glass fibre reinforced concrete technology. This allows the fountain to maintain the appearance of solid stone while remaining significantly lighter than traditional concrete, while still offering exceptional strength and durability for outdoor environments.

Every piece in the Pietro Stoneware range can be custom made in a colour finish of your choice from the Pietro colour swatches, allowing the fountain to be tailored to suit your home, landscape or architectural palette.

The fountain is self-contained and easy to install. Water is recirculated from the square collector trough using a pump (sold separately), with only occasional top-ups required during warmer weather.

Made from sprayed glass fibre reinforced concrete and 75% lighter than concrete (easy to move and place) yet strong and durable. This environmentally friendly material is petrochemical free and 100% recyclable. It is also rust and fire proof. Finishes are hand applied and reactive oxides create coatings that last longer than paint, stains or dyes. Pietro Stoneware is coated with a Pietrophos shield for added product resilience and stability. Marks on pots can be cleaned using mild soapy water with a soft bristle brush or cloth. Harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning implements should not be used. No two pieces are identical so products have an element of uniqueness.

After searching for a suitable water feature for our new home for the best part of three years, we had a good sense of what ambience we wanted to create. I happened upon the Gardener’s Emporium website and was attracted to a three-tier fountain in an antique bronze finish.
