Riversland – Swag Planter Set

Transform your home with our beautiful and vintage, one-of-a-kind Antique Set of 4 Swag Planters. Featuring decorative traditional garland detail, these planters have a classical, timeless elegance found for centuries throughout the Mediterranean. They’re a fantastic and versatile option to bring a touch of old-world charm to any garden and terrace of a rustic Mallorca finca. Made to look naturally weathered, these planters have an aged character that looks even better with time as it continues to age with use.

Dimensions may vary as these pots are handmade. Each Riversland item is siliconised to prevent excess moisture loss. Care is needed when moving these pieces as they may crack if knock or dropped.

Terracotta, (from the Latin terra cocta), a type of fired earthenware, is a clay-based unglazed ceramic. Not watertight so the presentation quality of the planter is best preserved by treating the interior or exterior of the pot with a sealant prior to use or planting. This will also minimise the development of white salts due to water seeping through the sides of the pot and drying. The porous nature of the product also makes them prone to cracking in freezing conditions . Take care when moving as they can crack easily if knocked or dropped. Riversland is a comparatively lightweight and low cost product range.

After searching for a suitable water feature for our new home for the best part of three years, we had a good sense of what ambience we wanted to create. We took measurements and even asked a good friend who has impeccable taste and who knows our house well to check the size and quality of the product. She loved it. We were nervous about the shipping, but Rachel is the most hands-on supplier I’ve ever dealt with. She scrupulously attended to every detail, ensuring the fountain was meticulously boxed and packaged, then shipped with the most reputable furniture removal company she could find. Rachel and Stu were in communication over the crating and delivery on a daily basis, ensuring that we knew how to have the fountain assembled and installed by sending us videos of installation and careful instructions. On the day it was installed, Rachel was on standby at the other end of the phone in case we had any questions. Fantastic service and we are delighted; the fountain is a perfect size for our space, as Rachel said it would be, and the workmanship and materials are of top quality.
